Re: A-10's at Holbeach Firing Range Reply #1 - Apr 3rd, 2005 at 12:39am   The A-10s cancelled through funding !!  The ongoing nonsence in Iraq and Afghanistan is soaking up so much of the budget that many exercsies are not taking place.  Fairford was to have had its share of bombers this year, but again, nothing has transpired through lack of funding. Pity about the A-10 detachment being cancelled - it would have been nice to have shot them with the new black lightning flash on a yellow stripe.  Oh well, just another disappointment in a long line !!
