Very lucky to have seen an advert for an Urban Photography Tour of RAF Coltishall with Wex so booked a couple of places and on the 1st March arrived eagerly at the Guard House for the tour to start.  Sad to see such a grand nostalgic part of British History start to decay and I wondered if it was best to see some buildings knocked down rather than see an even more undignified deterioration to the ground. In most of the areas there was the usual aroma of damp and rot but in other areas, such as the control tower, there was that aroma in the air that you only get in aircraft, strange.   I would have dearly loved to have gone back a few years and see Coltishall in all her magnificence, I can only stand back and let my mind wonder and imagine!

I could have spent much longer there but only had a limited time in each building so hopefully took enough shots to keep me occupied.
