Norfolk Ploughing Society Langham Airfield September 2013

A good day for getting out and about, so while the weather was good popped over to Norfolk's Ploughing Society Ploughing Match at Cockthorpe. This gave Stu and I a chance to see what the view looked like from one end of Langham Airfield we had not been on before. Not much to see apart from the Runway, Control Tower and of course the Dome which is now under restoration. The views must have been an awesome sight flying in and out during the War, on the ground they just as pleasing something you could not quite grasp on camera

While we had the chance stood right at the end of the runway and took a photo, about halfway down the public road cuts right through.  Two years ago stood on the brow of hill (which you can just see) and looked down onto a large stretch of the North Norfolk Coast, magnificent view.

...

Thank you for looking

Claire
