RAF Coningsby is pleased to announce that Flight Lieutenant Jamie Norris will be the Royal Air Force Typhoon Display pilot for the 2013 airshow season.

The display will be returning to 29(Reserve) Squadron at RAF Coningsby following a two year absence. The display was unable to go ahead during the 2011 season due to operational commitments in the Mediterranean. In 2012 the role was undertaken by Squadron Leader Scott Loughran from 6 Squadron based at RAF Leuchars.

Flt Lt Norris said, “It is an honour to be selected as the 2013 Display Pilot; I’m looking forward to demonstrating the capability of this world-class aircraft at venues around the country next summer”

Flt Lt Norris will begin practicing his display routine in the New Year.
