A day at Bruntingthorpe Airfield on Saturday 16th November 2019.
The morning was spent with English Electric Canberra B(I)8/B.6 Mod WT333 as routine checks were carried out on the aircraft. Unfortunately the planned antidet run didn't take place due to technical issues.
At 1PM De Havilland Comet 4C XS235 'Canopus' was to fast taxy. The aircraft did run, but unfortunately, the fast taxy had to be scrubbed.
The rest of the afternoon & evening was spent with the Lightning Preservation Group's Lightnings for a fast taxy & later, a Nightshoot, outside the Q-Shed.
All in all an excellent day
