Classic British Jets Collection, CBJC, will be hosting a special event and evening photo shoot with Sea Vixen XJ494 “Big Bird” who celebrates 60 years since her maiden flight. Join us to witness her perform fast taxi runs and static engine runs. This is the last running Sea Vixen in the world. Come and join us and support our work to preserve her and the rest of the CBJC aircraft. This event will now include the opportunity to Meet the CBJC Fleet and welcome our new additions, Gloster Meteor WM167 and Venom WR470. We are also hoping to run Comet 4C XS235 and possibly be visited by a De Havilland Vampire, static engine runs from a number of aircraft, photoshoot, cockpit visits (subject to staff availability) presentation on the project work being under taken, volunteer recruitment, the event will conclude with a fast taxi of sea vixen XJ494 (all aircraft activity is subject to serviceability) The CBJC shop and a pop up cafe will be open, all profits will go directly to supporting and maintaining the fleet.
