A couple of images from a very enjoyable few hours at the Hawker Typhoon RB396 Open Day. The event was held to show supporters of the project to return Hawker Typhoon RB396 to flight, how far the project has come so far & how far there is to travel to get RB396 flying by its target date of 2024.
Already the aircraft has a zero hours Napier-Sabre engine, an almost airworthy spinner has just been purchased & a tail section will hopefully be purchased very soon!
